Ok. So I’ve read that older Sitka and other clothes can get ruined in regards to elasticity of straps and other things due to ozone. The newer stuff is good to go

got me thinking can I damage my first lite merino base layers with repeated ozone exposure? It’s easier than washing every time I sweat a bit

anyone have thoughts or am I way overthinking?

Yeah you can damage it. Pretty sure Ryan Callahan discussed that on a podcast a year or two back. Couldn’t tell you when/where exactly but I do remember it coming directly from his mouth

It doesn’t make sense that you could damage pure merino. First lite aerowool has elastic though which can be damaged and loose the elasticity.
