Does anyone have a practical solution to wearing a pack belt and still wearing your pistol on your hip? I don't want to do a chest harness, don't want to do a drop rig and don't want to wear it on my pack. Seems like I've seen some kind of holster mount that lets it sit a little lower (maybe for people wearing body armor, I don't know)? I have a blackhawk serpa now with the paddle.

Ivory Holsters makes a nice one with clips for easy removal. I have one l ordered in multi cam thru Exo to match my 4800. Works great.

Comp Tac international holster. Comes with a drop piece for the belt attachment. Drops the holster around 1 1/2 inches I think. I bought one this summer for the same reason you are looking. I've had my loaded XD 10 in it and it's below my Duplex belt and not a problem to draw and holster.

Yep, this is what I was thinking. Do you have to do a leg strap with it or does it bounce around more being suspended lower like that?

I currently don't have a leg strap on it. I also don't have that many miles on with it yet. This will be the first season with this set up. The little time I've used it so far I don't notice much bouncing around. I haven't hiked much terrain with it yet. All flat land stuff.

I run Aholester on my Kifaru pack. Mounts easy to any belt that has PALS or molly webbing. You can still even run a small pocket over it depending on what you carry. When I carry my Kimber K6s or my shield I run a small over it, but anything bigger like 1911 commander has be run by itself.

Another vote for the ivory holster. Just got mine last week, i was using a serpa as well before this. I replaced the malice clips with the bladetech molle locks for quicker removal. Can change the height of the malice clips as well to change the cant. Really like that It is slim enough that i can run a kifaru medium pouch over the top of the holster. Very happy with it.

Reviving a 2 yo thread....

Looking for a holster that can attach to a duplex waist belt (like @NEhunter shows), but FOR A REVOLVER.
A Ruger Redhawk to be specific. I am tired of trying to find another way to wear it.
