Curious to know what type of phone scope adapters are favorable? I have the actual phone scope brand, but I’m looking for a different set-up. Any input is greatly appreciated.

What dont you like about the phoneskope? There are a couple different options but overall, they are all very very similar.

I have the TinesUp kit and it’s night and day better than the Phoneskope. All aluminum construction (other than the phone case). They even made me a custom ring for my spotter since it wasn’t on their list and it works perfect. I also like the fact the case for the phone isn’t big and bulky.

+1 for the Tines up Scope Cam kit. The Phone Skope kit for my iPhone 7 Plus is a heavy phone for the plastic case and the adapter. Tines up gives you a choice between just the bracket and the adapter or the full kit already assembled in an Otterbox case ready to take pics or videos.
Great job Tines Up

For both the outdoorsmans and the tines up you need the adapter and case just like a phone skope correct?

I know for the Outdoorsmans, you can use any phone case. The adpater sticks onto the phone case and then you buy the correct size aluminum ring for your specific spotting scope or binos.

ive ran both the phoneskope and the tines up. I much prefer the tines up strictly for the size when not in use.

Tines Up for me currently. Running a Meopta S2 and Samsung S8. Quick and easy to set up and the aluminum adapter fits easily into my AGC Kodiak Cub Max bino harness.

Times up looks like a great idea.
However can you use it with a lifeproof case?
Also any idea on how much it weighs?

Plus one on the novagrade double gripper. A little on the expensive side but if you change phones the novagrade goes with it. Works great on the swaro 65mm. Thumbs up

+1 for Tines up phonecam kit. You can get the tab ring with the 3M tape and apply them to pretty much any phone case if you don’t mind it always on. I would recommend using epoxy or fletching glue in addition to the 3M tape. I have found this system far less bulky, can’t forget it, and don’t have to switch cases. I also think it mounts to the optic much tighter without the wiggle room of phoneskope. I will say that with phonecams universal adapter you can only run the phone vertically or horizontal with the camera “down” and the weight of phone on the left side of optic. If you run horizontally with weight of phone on the right side the weight will make the threads loosen. This only applies to binos and straight spotters.

I have 3 tines up setups and really like the great build quality and the sturdiness of their universal adapter. No extra adapters to buy for different scopes.

Phone skope will make custom adapters as well. The new cases can actually be used as cases as well, the ring is removable.

I checked with a Lifeproof case I have and it will NOT work because of the ridges on the case.
The universal adapter weighs 3.3oz and the adapter with Otterbox Symmetry case weighs 4.8oz.

Good info. Thank you!
I’m kinda leaning toward the novagrade spotter attachment system now.
...similar weights, can use existing Lifeproof case, looks equally stout.
But OUCH spendy!
