Chilly morning about 7,200 ft. My thermometer said 18° but the wind advisory was for gusts up to 55 mph and and specifically mentioned 3 towns it would be the worst at, one of them directly at the bottom of the ridge was climbing. Soon after this pic it started snowing.

If you look close, he has a tag in his ear. Naughty bear, this one. Took this photo while fishing the Situk River out of Yakutat Alaska.

Judging from the foliage, I’m guessing you were silver salmon fishing in August? If you have any interest in some great steelhead fishing, for very large steelhead, you should check it out in the spring.

Yep, it was the first week of August. Not a lot of fish yet, but I still did well. Didn't know they had a steelhead run. It's a place I want to get back to, but just never have done it.
