It was both a rubbing post and a sign post rub. It was a post that held the electric fence charger for a food plot that was fenced with electric fencing.

You can take my place....it was 97° when I crawled into the brush blind that evening.....I had just built it that afternoon by a stock tank/pond.

I'm going "wave" today as well!!!

Pre-Covid (July 2019)...driving-up for hundreds of miles thru the YT, past the Arctic Circle, and into the NWT's to reach Tuk-Tuk and the Arctic Ocean (and back)...


Above is "Elephant Rock" on a ridge-line in the NWT's...

A closer look at an Arctic "pingo" above.

We've done the Dempster "Highway" twice before, and it is wonderful. "Pingos" are pretty interesting geological formations.

July 3rd, very late evening photo of part of a bachelor group of bucks coming to a tank for water. They did not show up till right at sundown. This photo was taken about 8:40.
