Just curious how many have thrown in the towel. We have gone from plan A to plan B and might be onto C before we leave for the last week of archery. We are OTC and not throwing in the towel. With some of the draw units burning up and people getting refunds of points and money I am thinking OTC may be even more popular. Just like every year, we plan on putting on the miles to get to where the people aren't and the elk are. Good luck and be safe to all of you chasing the smokey bulls of September!!

I just returned home from Colorado. Glenwood Springs general area.. I had and still have a deer tag for a otc Elk unit.. I hunted Elk there last year and had seen some decent muleys.. There was a truck or tent every 200 yards down the road.. I've never seen so many people in the woods.. My Elk tag was for a new draw unit . I Plan to do a post on my experience being a new Elk hunter . Maybe it will help other new guys..
