I’m not hitting my forearm but wanted to get an arm guard for shooting with a jacket on.

what is the benefit of a cool looking leather one over a plastic one? For example is the leather quieter if the string hits it ?

thanks
Mike

Leather all the way. I rarely hit my arm, but I like to keep my sleeve out of the way if I'm wearing a bulky jacket or protect my arm from the occasional form collapse while shooting in a T- shirt. Plus leather looks cool, man.

I like leather, whatever you choose....make sure it's quiet and snag free.

I don't like any that end up down my wrist too far and get slapped on the end vs side. I have a Cordura one that might as well be velcro when it rubs on rain gear. I have a cool LOOKING leather one that catches on everything because it has big antler buttons.
