Pnuma or Kuiu for a short guy

I ordered a new pair of Kuiu attack pants to replace my older pair. First thing I noticed was the change in the zipper size and it seems to me that the quality of it is lower. (zipper quality) Has anyone had any issues with the zippers? Also, The Pnuma Waypoint pants can go down to a 29" inseam and this would help to avoid the articulated shin problem. My concern with them is that they will cook me out for September elk. Any feedback on this would be great.

Unless there is another company that makes pants with a shorter inseam these are the pants I am interested in.
