I have a Tikka 300 Win Mag and have been shooting the Barnes TTSX 165gr bullets for quite a few years with excellent accuracy and performance. Unfortunately, the supply is gone and I only have 24 rounds left so I recently found and bought some Sig Sauer 165gr elite copper hunter (non tipped, looks more like hollow point).
My concern is bullet flight out to about 550 yards. Do the poly tips help that much with flight in that distance? Review on the Sigs look good, hopefully I can try them out here soon. Any insights or experience with this load or poly tips vs non would be appreciated.
