Poop shovels

I’m really shocked that this topic is so controversial? Especially on this site. We all love being out in wild places. IMO, Not burying your poop is akin to leaving behind a pile of beer cans and trash at your it campsite. Doing the right thing with your human waste takes about an extra 2 minutes of time and costs you maybe 1oz of pack weight for the spade. I don’t get why some folks are so “dug in on surface shitting. (See what I did there ).

But seriously, I hope some of you consider making a change. Maybe it’s just never occurred to you to do anything differently? But maybe after some reflection you’ll see things in a “hole” different way. (I’m Sorry. I can’t help myself!)

If you look around in everyday life the self absorption of people is obvious....thus this thread is no surprise to me at all as people can/will rationalize any behavior as good/acceptable. The current situation sucks and it is only going to suck more as time passes....
