So, you recognize this is a very busy time of year for them yet you won't show any empathy? You go the opposite route and post on a forum using the term "bad publicity" when most of the people who have viewed this thread disagree with your reaction to the situation. Also, using the "customers like me" line wreaks of entitlement. I'm sorry you fell into the small percentage of bad experiences with Schnees, but good lord be a human. A sometimes mistake making human.
1). They were very squeaky. This would be unacceptable to pretty much everyone here. Failure 1
2). The lace hook on the tongue was attached too high rendering it useless. This is unacceptable and an example of an inferior product. Failure 2
Return went great. Of course it did, that is simply a business protecting themselves.
3). Called Thursday 8/27, Schnees stated new pair of boots would go out expedited Friday 8/28. Schnees failed on delivering this promise. Failure 3
4). No tracking number provided sent by Schnees. Failure 4
5). Called back 9/1 promised tracking number within minutes, and nothing. Failure 5
6). Called back again several hours later and assured they would ship last night 9/1, yet still no tracking number today 9/2 Failure 6 and 7.
Call 9/2 today and left a voicemail but no call back received.
Called again today 9/2 and spoke with same person that promised to ship them last Thursday 8/27 and again 9/1. She admitted not shipping them – order cancelled. Wait, this was the same person that promised twice to ship the boots ASAP. Yeah, I would not put any stock in someone that gave me false promises.
I just don't get the fanboy crowd here. Sure they are busy. They get busy this time of year every year, it's predictable for Schnees. And as someone pointed out, Schnees can plan for that. But instead they give false promises several times. In my case those false promises came numerous times. Yet I still got forgotten about and actually never received the product I paid for over a month later. Simply put, they have no more excuses and Schnees needs to stop making false promises. There are lots of companies here that state upfront their estimated shipping times and actually regularly beat those estimated shippings. Their honesty gets them deserved accolades. And company that provides empty promises deserves the bad publicity.
