Possible to put a reticle on an 1.7x magnifier for BTX/95?

Playing with some new optics and thinking it would be nice to have a reticle on my spotting scope, for occasional use. I'm not interested in buying a completely separate scope to have that functionality. Does anyone know if it's possible to have a reticle installed on something like the ME1.7x magnifier that is used in the ATX/STX series of scopes from Swaro? Would it operate as a FFP reticle? Or am I completely out to lunch and suffering from lack of sleep with a teething infant in the house?

I guess I'm confused. Why would you want a reticle in a spotter?

I could see the benefit in MOA/MIL for spotting for long range shooting.

While shooting, its possible to see impacts and make adjustments based off the measurements made with a reticle.

I would rather use a spotting scope to do this, rather then the scope on my rifle as I tend to shoot with much lower magnification scopes then what is available in my spotter.
