I hunt about 14,000 acres of private land in Montana that only gives out Bull tags to non-residents every few years. I've drew a cow/spike tag again this year but really want to practice some of what I've been learning from Paul/ElkNut so I'm ready when I do draw that bull tag.

Just wondering how much I'll educate the bulls in the area or if it's smart or dumb?

Definitely great practice, and plenty of photo opportunities. Since you won't be shooting @ them or threatening them, that shouldn't freak them out. I wouldn't pursue them after calling them in.

That was the plan. Get camo'd in and sit tight. I really don't want them to come all the way to me but I'd like to see if I can chat them up if possible.

The area has great potential with my buddy arrowing a nice 7x7 the first day last year. He wasn't really even hunting. He'd just set up a blind over a water hole and decided to sit there with his wife bow for the last hour of light and this Bull comes in 20min later. He only ran 25yds:)
