Very good condition pre 64 Winchester Model 70 in 30-06 caliber. The rifle performs exactly as you would expect one of these classic rifles to work. I have never had a problem with loading or ejection or anything at all. The wood is nice but has been refinished. The bluing is very good with only one rub mark between the front of the action and the rear sight. The added recoil pad is soft and perfectly aligned with the stock. The rifle was manufactured in 1954. If you want a rifle to go hunting with and not have any worries about, this is the one for you.

No trades, please.

$900.00.

I have had some questions so here are the answers.

What is the lop with the pad? 13 1/2 inches

How is the bore? bright and shiny

Do you have the rear sight? Yes. It was not on the rifle when I bought it but the previous owner sent it to me.

What kind of groups are you getting and with what ammo? The three shot group is using Federal Premium Accu

Thanks 100percent for the nice compliment.

While I would be very happy with $1500, I believe the rifle is fairly priced. As happens with a lot of us, something else is wanted.

I would not have any problem with a realistic payment schedule. Propose away.

I have the same one, given to me by my grandpa 30 years ago. I’ve retired it from hunting, but will never let it go! And boy is the action butter smooth.

You should not retire it, these rifles are tough. Use it and enjoy it. Your grandfather would approve.
