Preferred Barrel Blanks Tikka Prefit, variable shoulder barrel. Stainless, 1 in 8 Twist, 6.5-284 Norma chamber, 26", .800 Varmint contour, fluted with spiral 1 in 16 twist. threaded 5/8x24. 117 rounds fired, most of load development was below 0.5moa, best group 0.24moa. Never fired more than 4 rounds in a string. Getting 3012fps with 142SMK. One light scuff in the matte finish, shown.
Love this barrel, but ordered too long and too heavy for my needs. Will include 100 pieces of 1x and 2x fired Lapua brass (65 once, 25 twice--I bought some of the brass 1x fired), PBB barrel nut and wrench, and knurled thread protector.
This barrel shoots far better than I do. I only hope the replacement shoots as well, or I a going to regret this!
