I found a winterkill antelope skull and horns. They are bleached a golden color and have obvious wear. Is there something I can do to preserve them from decomposing further. They are pretty cool and I would like to make a mount. Any help is much appreciated.

Just getting them out of the elements will do that. I'll assume it is legal to snag deadheads where you found it.

I'd suggest pulling the horns off and cleaning the horn bases and inside the horns. You also should put it all in a bag and hit it with some bug spray, seal it up for a few hours, then rinse it off. There are a few nasty beetles you don't want around your other trophies if you have a few.

Thanks for the info! Yes, its legal here as long as I buy an interstate game tag and call the local game warden.
