Selling Leica Trinovid 10x42 BA. German made optics, built like a tank, crystal clear glass. They have a little bit of white oxidation on the rubber armour and the plastic thread cap is missing from where tripod adapter screws on. Glass is in great condition. $550 tyd PayPal

Yep, I love how easy they are on the eyes. Only reason I’m selling is because I’ve switched to 12x50 so these haven’t been out much for the past couple years. Will include S4 lockdown bino harness if buyer wants it.

Drop to $550. If you can find a better deal on European glass I’ll buy you a Dr Pepper.

glass is in great condition, no scratches.

This topic of the white substance has been brought up on some other forums, mainly birding forums. Their thoughts are it's some sort of oxidation or additive to the rubber. They have been like that since i can remember. I noticed there is none of it where it comes into contact with your hands or harness, only in the crevasses so it likely rubs off. I imagine it's cleanable its just never bugged me enough to try cleaning them. The rubber housing shows zero signs of degradation.
