I posted about my primitive experiments awhile back. I had made a hickory flatbow, steel heads, and wood arrow with goose feathers and self nocks...anyway I did some testing of it and put together a video on my YouTube if anyone is interested. I really wanna do a head from a bolt (like someone on leatherwall suggested) or other hardened steel. To get a better edge. I'm trying to get a refrigerant tank to build a better forge before I do that. I need to step up my self nock game too, I might try the 2 saw blades and emery boards like some other guys suggested.
