Pronghorn scrape in June?

So I am visiting my friend in Colorado, he has a great view of some grassland from his back yard. I have been watching about 15 pronghorn every morning. I have noticed the same buck walk on the same hill line every morning. Today I saw him scrape the ground, pee on his legs over it, and the poop on it. I saw a Randy Newberg video where he described this exact thing as how they make scrapes in the rut. Do they really do this all year long?
