There have been plenty of times over the past 5 months I’ve wondered what was I thinking buying this damn dog, but this makes it all worth it! She’s coming along nicely, much better than expected for the amount of time I’ve actually spent with her. It seems like intentions are always better than reality. That being said she’s doing about as good as I could hope!

Congrats! It can be an extremely frustrating process but I often find that the dogs instincts eventually overcome my attempts at training and the dogs end up being better than I could ever thought. Good luck with the training! If you have a local NAVHDA chapter around I would recommend joining!

That’s funny… You said it better than I could. I was just telling somebody yesterday that it’s amazing I haven’t messed her up yet. I do have a local NAVDHA chapter super close. Somebody else recommended checking them out, I think I will.

Thats great! I have learned a good deal from hanging out with mine and have made some great friends as well. Always good to get different perspectives and its helpful to see everyone else struggle with it, haha. Misery loves company.
