Birds numbers are picking up around the St Louis area. Scouted last week and saw some decent groups of migrators. Lots of woodies and teal. Hearing a fair amount of shooting

still killing mallards in Canada

Seasons been open here in BC for a month. I hunt tidal estuary's but the massive amount of rain we've had has flooded all the private fields drawing ducks away from the usual spots. That said, some big mallards, lots of wigeon right now. Tons of geese Canada's and Cacklers moving through right now.

Spent the last 2 days scouting here on/near Mobile Bay.
Other than 6-8 Woodies......NADA.
Season is 11 days away.
