So a 20 MOA rail would allow for more adjustment at longer ranges, correct?
Then when zeroing I guess you end up with your scope turret dialed 20 MOA from the center in one direction?
At what point in distance does it make sense to utilize a 20 MOA rail?

Edit to add: My scope is a NF NXS on a .300wm

Excellent info. Thanks.

406smith covered it.

My take is 20 moa won't hurt, adds more usable elevation to dial. I only run 20 moa rails and mostly shoot out to 1000. Optically, you are out of center at closer ranges where it matters little and closer to center at long ranges where it matters more.
