Any suggestions for a truly quiet bino harness that's easy open/close? I'm referring to silent as in treestand hunting wired up whitetails who hate cordura noise. I don't need a big chest rig just bino and rf pouch.

I've got an older Alaskan Guide Creations harness that works fine for elk hunting but I would like something just to keep out rain when in a stand. I usually hunt with a Rick Young harness and put the bino inside my coat if it rains (bino is waterproof, I'm just ocd about water spots on eye piece).

Ooops. I just found this:

I’m running Eberlestock. No issues opening and closing and the fabric wears in overtime to make it a little better

I’m running eberlestock and have had no issues. It breaks in over time

I love my harness for western hunting, and hated it for stand-hunting whitetails. Less about noise and more about the fact that every sit, I am changing my layers at least twice so taking the harness off & putting it back on is just more hassle and movement.

I've also killed a couple of very big deer where I had to drop the binos, grab the bow, draw and shoot as fast as I could - perhaps 3 or 4 seconds - and even half a second more to stow the binos in a harness might have cost me that opportunity.

I use the T and K hunting bino harness and love it. Magnetic flap on it so it doesn't flop around when not in use. Quite and comfortable.

IDK...I have a KUIU one and no issues here in MN late season in dead still below zero weather where every thing makes noise. Had deer last night within 10 yards of me and pulled out the binos multiple times. Dead quiet still night I could here the deer snapping beans off 100 yards out in the field.

I have the bino bro pro. it is really quiet and low profile.
Holds all I need .
The harness could be better but it functions well.

Marsupial
The marsupial is very quiet and one of the best features is no fussing with straps when you're trying to keep eyes on an animal (not having to look down and un-do goofy straps or pull strings). Also not having it close on you, for putting binos away quickly with one hand.

Jim (Marsupial owner) is a lifelong hunter born and raised here in AZ and you can tell it was built for hunters in the overall design.

I'm finally retiring my Large Blaze Orange Marsupial for a Medium. It still functions flawlessly after roughly 700 or so field days, I got a smaller footprint range finding binocular and prefer the smaller size is all.

Yes, these are both the same "blaze orange" color offering...

Guess I’m an outlier, I prefer my Elbertstock Nosegunner over my Marsupial.

That being said, I truly feel that bino harnesses are more “user specific” than a one size fits all. My personal styles and hunting will differ greatly than someone in the Midwest to West coast etc..

Even my Nosegunner isn’t perfect and will be going to a seamstress to get modified to exactly how I want it.

I’d buy a couple used or ideally borrow some buddies to get a feel for what YOU want and understand what you don’t want out of a bino harness.

I have the Badlands MagBio Harness and it is one of my most favorite pieces of gear. The magnetic closer is silent and keeps water AND dust out so the glass is always clean. The harness is also very comfortable!

I am also looking for a bino harness but, based on all of the threads, am seeing that like most things, it is a very individualized piece. I am really hesitant to buy something without holding it first, so I may end up waiting for the Outdoors Show in PA in a couple weeks to get hands on. Thus far, the new Kuiu, Eberlestock and Marsupial look interesting. But, I am reading all if this, so hopefully people keeping adding opinions.
