Rain Fly for bow

HI all,

So I just realized going through my gear for September that I have rain gear, a rain fly for my pack, and a rain fly for my bino harness. That said, I have nothing for my bow.

Has anyone used something like the KUIU SFS Bow Cover? I tend to just ensure my strings are well waxed and call it good, but given how much other rain stuff I have I might be thinking about picking it up.

Thanks in advance.

I wouldn't give it a second thought. If raining hard enough I will tap the bow a couple times to get the water off. I have used a cam/string cover in the past and it's nothing but a pita and in the way. No way would I want my bow in any configuration other than ready to shoot while hunting.

I use a Primos bow sling. takes 1 second to remove (I don't clip mine just pull it over the string). While traveling/hiking I through the sling part over my pack stays so I am hands free. I have had zero issues with it and my strings aren't torn up after bush whacking.
