Rain Gear for Caribou hunt

I have a Caribou hunt planned for next fall. Will be flown in and dropped off. I was planning on getting the Kuiu Kutana but am interested in the new Chugach now. Wondered how durable of rain gear I would need for that type of hunt. Thanks

I use the Kuiu Yukon pants and the Chugach jacket. Both are HD outfits that haven't let me down yet (4 years old). Although expensive, I always say being warm and dry in the field is worth the money. You might also look into wearing breathable waders. There will be a lot of puddles and tundra that you may be traversing and waders negate the worry of stepping into something that goes over your boots/gaiters. The waders in my profile pic are cabelas dry plus waders. They work well and are inexpensive enough to not worry if you get blood on them. Good luck with your Kotz hunt, It's an amazing area.
