Rangefinder recommendations?

when a rangefinder says 1000 max yards, it usually means off a reflective target vs a deer or even a tree. in the paper work it should state deer sized animal. I bet it may range a deer to 500. also need to try to see how long it takes to rake that distance. once you figure out what the max range deer color/size target, you need to figure out what max shooting distance.

Sig, leica and leupold all make great rangefinders. Like mentioned get one rated at much further yardage you intend to need. 2400 plus imo
