I target shoot. The wife golfs. She told me the other day she wants a rangefinder. “Sweet!” I want one too for shooting when I’m not on marked ranges and when I’m in the bush. I’m looking for a rangefinder that can do both. Any suggestions?

I used one of the Leica Pinmasters for years until I moved up to something with ballistic capability. I bet the newer ones have even more capability.

Worked good - told me how far stuff was...

I've used both my Sig BDX (whichever one everyone on here bought from Sportsmans) and a super old Nikon 440 and they've both worked fine for the course. I don't range the pole or the pin, I range the quadrant of the green I want to hit on pretty much every shot inside 200.

The Garmin watches are also super popular for golf. They were recently on sale for 150.
