If I’m doing my math right the full red cliff with pole, stakes, stove, and stovepipe would only be 5.5 lbs. That’s a huge amount of space and amenities for that weight. If you split that between 2-3 guys it would be nothing.

Ive run a Anjan 3 since 2014, and wouldn't go tipi personally. Once you're in enough storms and it rains hard enough on a trip for multiple days, it sure is nice to have a bomber shelter. Nothing beats a hilleberg in the wind if you plan to camp out of the trees as well.

It's all a balance - if the weather is nice, no rain, no wind, nothing nasty - then go for a tipi or heck, no shelter!

If you hunt in AK or anywhere else that your life depends on your shelter, the Anjan or even a Nallo is the ticket in my opinion.
