Reapplying DWR to Kifaru LPP

Hey all. Just picked up a LPP from a buddy. It was raining today and each drop just soaked into the jacket like a sponge. Obviously the DWR needs to be restored. Can I just use the Grainger wash in DWR I use for my rain jackets or will that have an adverse effect on the insulation? What do y’all think is the best way to do this?

I’ve never used this before but heard it works better than the wash. Because you can apply it to spots where dwr is lacking and it doesn’t affect breathability by coating the inside of the garment.

Wash in for shells, spray on for insulated/insulation pieces.
