Would anyone have any recommendations or experience with a taxidermist in the Kansas City area for an elk euromount. Rather than the bleached skull look I was going to try and find somebody who Could allow the skull to have a more natural off-white look.

Find a beetle guy, ask for degreasing but no whitening. They are that natural bone color if you don’t peroxide them as the last step.

Have you considered doing it yourself?

I've done a half dozen whitetail so far and they've all come out great. An elk would just require a bigger pot to boil it in.

Just a thought!

Yup call Scott, he does a great job and really all that’s left in the KC area. He has a bunch of his work in Scheels as well yet still has decent pricing.

For euro’s he waits till he has 10 to do and then does them in a batch.
