Recommendations for Single Stack & Holster

Have a trip coming up in May to Alaska....plan to hike around Sitka a little bit and also will be steelhead fishing somewhere in the backcountry

Then in Sept doing a long distance thing in SW Montana just outside of yellowstone....will run part of the way and hike the rest.

Currently have a 10mm XDM and a Ruger Super Redhawk 44 mag, but both are a little heavy for the trip in Sept, so looking for a single stack.

Have ordered a Full size HPG Runners kit bag.

Any recommendations on what to get? I plan on buying some Underwood Ammo/Buffalo Bore, etc.

In my opinion, it's going to be hard to beat your 44mag for your trip, unless you just want another pistol. The small pistols are light and all but if you Need your gun then you will wish you had your 44! I recomend a Diamond D Guide holster too. Have a great trip!
