Red Dot for S&W 500

What kind of red dot would you throw on a 4" S&W 500? I have a RMR already, but kind of would like to keep it on that gun.

Mounting it seems to be pretty difficult. Any recommendations on a good way? The gun doesn't have a rail or anything.

Another RMR or a JPoint. I like the EGW mount for the S&W Revolver.

You pull the rear sight and use the screw holes under it for the RMR mount. Same as you would for a scope mount. There isn't another option that I'm aware of unless you want to have someone do some custom work.

I've beaten the hell out of both of these sights on a variety of pistols and revolvers and they keep on ticking. Everything from .22 LR to .500 Smith. I had a Leupold Deltapoint for a while, but it jettisoned the lens on my DW 6" .44 Mag.

I've heard good things about sights from Shield, but haven't used one.
