Up for sale is my R700 300 RUM. This rifle started life as a stainless SPS. I had it coated black, fluted the bolt, and had a brake put on it. A Grayboe Outlander replaced the plastic stock from the factory.
It has been hunted with and shows a few nicks here and there, but is in overall good condition. I have tried to show everything in the pics I'll post.
The rifle shot 200 gr Accubonds and Retumbo at around .75 MOA. I briefly played with 200 gr. ELDXs but didn't invest a lot of time and components into finding a load. I bought it used, so I cannot know the exact round count. I feel sure that I have somewhere around 100 shots on it.
The only reason I am selling is because I bought a lightweight 300 Win Mag and it is looking like it will be my go to. Between the Winny and a 300 Roy in the safe I don't see the RUM getting used.
Asking price is now $1,250.00 shipped to your FFL in the lower 48. If you're in AK we will figure something out. I will do postal MO or pay pal f&f. I don't know of anything that I would be willing to trade for, but if you have something hit me up. May just be something I can't live without.
I was holding on to some brass and dies for a buddy that is getting a RUM. Looks he won't need them so I am adding them to the package. That's a set of RCBS dies and 50 pieces of unfired Bertram brass that have been prepped and are ready to go.
