Finally finished this project of my stainless Remington 30/06 lss mountain rifle, ive had it about 16 years and never really liked the finish or the jbolt lock but it shot good. After covid I decided i should sale what i dont use and get what i want.I figured it shoots good and can kill anything in north america so why not redo it.

Interested in how much difference in weight between the McMillian and the original stock? I have the same rifle and it is a shooter. I would like to change the stock but I hate to mess with it.

Well done.

I've built (several) of the exact same rifle but in LH....fun projects. Mine even looked the same... This one was in .280 rem. They were all in the 5lb+ range.UNADJUSTEDNONRAW_thumb_12c1.jpg
