Remage Barrel nut stock question

Obviously I have zero knowledge with the barrel nut or remage barrels.
When swapping out a Remington 700 barrel to the remage barrel nut setup Do you usually have to modify your barrel channel on the stock to account for the additional diameter of the barrel nut?

Sometimes you do, depending on the stock and factory barrel, but plan on it.
