I've installed dozens of these and have never run into a problem. So, before I go digging around and modifying things, I thought I would ask here first. I've got a Remington 700 Classic 280. I bought a Timney, with safety and bolt release, when I bought the Bell and Carlson stock. I installed the trigger and the stock and it has functioned in that manner for a couple of years. My son returned from the army and asked that I put it back into the wood stock. I did so. No problem with the stock swap, nothing too tight, etc. The bolt works fine; however, neither the safety nor the trigger will work. I have removed it and reassembled. Every time I reassemble, if in the fire position, the trigger will work perfectly. However, after I cock it, neither the trigger nor the safety will move. Any thoughts before I start digging around ham-fisting it? Thanks in advance.
