Remington 870 Special Purpose Marine Magnum???

Any ideas for other options that offers something similar now that Remington is no more or am I better off buying the components and having them cerakoted?

Open to a used if anyone has a lead on one in good shape….

Mossberg and Benelli both make a nickled shotgun for marine environments.

If you're not headed for saltwater, cerakote will be cheaper and last just as well.

I have an 870 Tactical forsale.
The finish is "blasted black oxide"
If you think that would hold up.
Or are you specifically worried about salt water?
