I just found out that Marvelous Marvin Hagler just passed away at the age of 66.

Marvin Hagler was one of my all time favorite fighters. He was incredible and the discipline that he had was amazing. I never ever saw him come into a fight out of shape or overweight, which seems to not be the case in some of todays fighters. Not all fighters today certainly, but Marvin was always prepared for his fights, always! There was no quite in him either. Marvin was extremely talented and gifted but he remained true to the person that he was. He was humble and gracious.

One day I found out that Marvin Hagler had been in town with his wife and stayed at a KOA campground very near to where I lived. Marvin was still fighting at the time and I can't recall the exact year. I would have loved to say hello and meet him. I never fought professionally but I did fight as an amateur for 12 years, and I was also training and fighting at the same time Marvin was in town. I would have loved it if I could have talked him into going out with me to where we trained, and get the chance to spar with him for a few rounds. Just to be able to share the same ring with Marvin Hagler would have been an amazing experience.

RIP Marvin Hagler

One of my favorite 2 or 3 fighters ever. I saw last night he had passed. I still, every time ESPN classic run his hit.man hearts fights, sugar ray etc. can't remove myself from the TV. One amazing middleweight. Everything I've ever heard is that he was a good guy too. Sad, he was only in his sixties too.

Marvelous Marvin Hagler, Sugar Ray Leonard, Thomas “The Hit Man” Hearns Those guys were awesome to watch back in the day back when boxing was king. I would have loved to see a sit down conversation with those three guys together talking about the fights that they had with one another

I was a big Sugar Ray fan but like Hagler too. Pulled for SR in that fight but got to say that Hagler got robbed. If I remember correctly the announcers were saying SR had to win the last round convincingly to have a chance and Hagler pummled him but still lost with the judges. Pure robbery it was.

Marvin Hagler health update before death sparks anti-vaccine messages, Thomas Hearns tries to quiet noise

A note on Hagler's official website said that the boxing great died of 'natural causes'

A health update on Marvelous Marvin Hagler hours before the boxing legend died Saturday night raised eyebrows.

Fellow boxing great Thomas Hearns shared with his followers that Hagler was "fighting the after effects of the vaccine" before the former undisputed middleweight ultimately passed away.

"A real true warrior Pray for the king and his family.. he’s in ICU fighting the after effects of the vaccine! He’ll be just fine but we could use the positive energy and Prayer for his Full Recovery !" Hearns wrote.

this is when It was worth watching a fight !
Opah thanks for adding the Hearns fight. I have it saved from a Classic Boxing show on television and watched that fight 3 times today. Really appreciate the Greatest Hits also. I had not seen that one before.
