I think this really exemplifies a huge issue in politics today. Just because someone supports a candidate or an idea, an individual is ready to classify them as an enemy.

For instance, what if someone is supporting Bernie because they have a sick parent or child and can see no way else to afford the life-saving care needed. They may see Sanders as their hope with his medicare for all plan.

THIS is the problem in America these days. All people care about is "what's in it for me", or "what's in it for this small group of people"........instead of WHAT'S BEST FOR THE NATION AS A WHOLE. The nation as a whole with the foundational pieces, is more important than any single person or group within our nation. That's why "some" men and women are willing to give their lives fighting for and protecting it.......it's more important than even my one single life.

All these nutjob liberals have these grand plans that sound great to people, but the end result is a complete failure and a bankrupted nation. Anyone that would support that, IS an enemy to the United States. IMO you're either a patriot or you're a traitor, and there have been plenty of traitors even in the Republican party. People like to pretend that they're "in the middle" of this pack, but it's kind of like "How many lies do you have to tell before you're considered a liar"? Just one.......at that point it doesn't matter that the other 99 things weren't lies. It's the same with being a traitor. 3%.

Does anyone really care who Joe Rogan, or any celebrity for that matter, endorses? I know IDGAF what he, or any other celebrity thinks. I really want to meet the poor sap that votes for Bernie because Joe Rogan said he is going to.

"Woke shaming"??? What the heck is a woke?

"Woke shaming" is when someone takes on the air of pious outrage to shame/expose someone they deem an enemy because they do not agree with their XYZ social/political position in order to marginalize, demean, and hopefully eliminate them.

As silly as it sounds, it's very effective. Other examples are when someone says there are only two genders and people scold them on social media for not being 'woke' to the "reality" there are an infinite number... this kind of bullshit has actually forced celebrities to backpedal. At best, it's just an annoyance, at it's worse it's a form of social re-education. And it is OWNED by the left... it is the WORST kind of political correctness...it's also VERY common in colleges... walk the line, else you will be branded a racist/homophobe and be shunned by the crowd...

Oh, and again, I'll recommend Eric Hoffer's True Believer - it goes into stuff like this and why people do what they do...

I've never really understood why anyone would pick a candidate based on the opinion of Hollywood types, rock musicians, COMEDIANS or professional sports stars.

What about the opinion of colleagues? Hillary sure pulls no punches when asked about Bernie:

"He was in Congress for years. He had one senator support him. Nobody likes him, nobody wants to work with him, he got nothing done," Clinton says "He was a career politician. It's all just baloney and I feel so bad that people got sucked into it."

To put it simply...because THAT:S where they put their faith; we are a celebrity-driven society - be they sports, political, or movie stars... We no longer cultivate meaningful spheres of influence with real people - just the people we see on the screen who we want to be like, and in order to be like them, we must THINK and DO like them.... the general reason is because we lack meaningful purpose and feel the need to attach ourselves to others (or movements, e.g. animal rights/climate/pick-your-poison), in an effort to glean meaning from them.

Does Trumpism fall into this category?

I think there are some within the hunting community who are sympathetic to the left due to conservation/public lands issues.

I won’t disagree that sometimes these issues make for strange bedfellows and that the right isn’t always the best for conservation these days.

That said, if you polled the members of PETA, green peace, etc who do you think their preferred candidate would be?

Bottom line the I am much more likely to get a republican to be open minded about public lands, conservation, and predation issues than I am to get a Democrat to care about gun rights or hunting.

Um, yes. Any -ism.... Rinella-ism, Back Country Hunters and Anglers-ism, etc.

I hope you didn't make the mistake of thinking I am a trump fan - you'd be terribly mistaken.

I think he’s a low IQ half wit, garbage excuse for a human being, straight up piece of shit. That being said, I’ll probably end up having to vote for that miserable retard, so that’s that

well at least that was a concise write -up about Bernie and his uneducated goober supporters.I wish Bernie's hygiene was better. At least fix his dirty rotten yellow teeth or use a bar of soap.

'He and his wife have grifted millions of dollars from tax payers so he certainly can afford some tooth paste and a tooth brush

Your last comment is spot-on. I try to remind people that public lands isn't the only thing the left will be voting on...have we forgotten Va Already?

It doesn't seem that Bernie has much of a chance tbh. Biden is most likely but its Warren who worries me most. Trump hasn't been a friend to us either with the naming of William Pendley as acting director of BLM, someone who has made a career of stripping the American public of their lands. I cant find a candidate on either side yet that I believe is good for sportsmen or our nation in general.
That being said, I'd hesitant to call other Americans my enemy or traitors due to their political beliefs. If we could harness the energy from our founding fathers rolling in their graves over this shit we'd be all set.

If your supporting sanders your my enemy. The democrat/socialist push to change the USA forever is in full swing and I am on the Trump train to freedom.

The group behind aoc idolizes pol pot, they are very dangerous folks.

The founding fathers understood that some citizens of the original colonies were their enemies based on those peoples political beliefs.

I don't agree that hating and vilifying people that don't agree with you is a productive way to go forward in getting things accomplished...

I deleted the JRE from my Podcast app after hearing that. Seems like most of his stuff are infomercials now.

I could only get about 1/2 way through his podcast with Bernie. I thought Joe was going to go down on him after all the arse kissing and softball he was throwing him.

Curious how much JR net worth has gone up since Trump has been calling the shots. He'll see it evaporate real quick if Bernie has his was.

He should get Trump on the JRE and hear his plan for America now.

But as JR says, He's got F---off money so it won't really effect him personally.
