This guy is TRIGGERED!!!! He would make a good liberal.
Seriously though, he seems like a nut job. Making videos in your she shed with a beard that looks like it was glued on.
No, we do not have hunting rights. It's a privilege. Republicans are much more pro hunting. Republicans don't want to protect public lands, they want to conserve them. Google these words and add them to your vocabulary. Democrats want to protect public lands, yes.Everybody seems to hate democrats for not protecting our hunting rights, but it seems republicans lately haven't been protecting our public lands.
Pro hunting....However, there is of course no public candidate or representative that is anti public lands. There are of course a few very Conservative Republicans that are against over regulations of public lands and want to transfer some or a lot to the states, which is not anti public lands. These people are definitely not pro federal public land, which does not by definition make them anti federal public land. So, my question is if you had to choose between a candidate that was anti-hunting but pro-public lands or a candidate that was pro-hunting but anti-public lands, which would you choose?
Trying to wrap my head around this...is this rhetorical?I do believe it highlights that the growing population of hunters, especially new hunters have a different background and outlook especially out west.
I'm obviously not his fan boy. However, do you know anything at all about Tule elk and hunting Tule elk? There are 8,000 Tule Elk, and many live on private ranches. These ranches are not high fence. Of course these elk see very little pressure, true. I killed an 8 year old Tule elk on the Fort Hunter Liggett Army Base in California. The base is 200 square miles and the 500 elk live in a 60 square mile area. Yes, the elk are no where anything like the Rocky Mountain elk I've hunted. Hunting Tule elk is not very difficult at all on private, public, or the army base I hunted. If you want to kill a Tule elk it will be very easy. The thing of a private ranch is it will cost around $30 grand, which is a lot of money to me. Getting drawn for a public Tule elk on a public hunt is virtually impossible. I'm super lucky and blessed for the opportunity. I also drew a desert bighorn. It does not bother me in the least if someone kills a Tule elk. It doesn't make them on bit less of a hunter to me. BillRogan lost me on the only thing I ever saw him kill. A old Tule elk that was sleeping under a tree on a private ranch that he shot at 75 yards with a bow. Maybe a decent shot but absolutely not hunting IMO
It wasn't a canned hunt. Tule elk are nothing like the Rocky Mountain elk as far as being difficult to hunt. They are more like cattle. If you want to draw a public Tule elk hunt, it's virtually impossible. If you want to kill a Tule elk you need to buy a land owner tag and hunt on a big ranch. There are no high fences and yes the elk are going to be relatively easy to hunt. Otherwise, you don't hunt them.Just turned me off. As most canned hunts do.
Um, yes. Any -ism.... Rinella-ism, Back Country Hunters and Anglers-ism, etc.
I hope you didn't make the mistake of thinking I am a trump fan - you'd be terribly mistaken.
Glad I read this thread, as I now know that everyone who holds a different opinion than I do is the enemy.
I don't see many Trump fans on this site. I mean does anyone believe Trump isn't probably the most boorish man by far in Presidential history? Wasn't he with a porn star when his wife was giving birth to his son? Is he super emotional, chaotic, and irrational at times, and is he increasing the national debt? Hell yes. On the other hand is he delivering on most of his campaign promises, is he negotiating good deals for America, is he looking out for America, is the economy great, is he smashing the corrupt government status quo, is he installing Conservative judges, is he doing lots of mostly very Conservative things? Hell yes!! There you have it. Am I his fanboy? Yes and no, LOL!!I did not, but we certainly have some folks on this forum who unashamedly fall into that category and do not care about the implications, hypocrisy or dangers associated with such aa cult of personality ism.
If I was going to hunt Tule elk, it would be draw tag on public land or nothing. Sorry if I don't se it like you.It wasn't a canned hunt. I disagree and care about what people think, yes too much, lol. However, the problem with our country is people don't care and don't seem to stand for anything anymore. Why can't people have their own thoughts and critisize those who have great influence? When are we going to all realize how self destructive it is to give more than 2 shits what someone else thinks politically. Open your mind and have your own thoughts and stop wasting air with your complaints about others

It's ridiculous to pick a candidate over one topic.Everybody seems to hate democrats for not protecting our hunting rights, but it seems republicans lately haven't been protecting our public lands.
So, my question is if you had to choose between a candidate that was anti-hunting but pro-public lands or a candidate that was pro-hunting but anti-public lands, which would you choose?
I don't agree that hating and vilifying people that don't agree with you is a productive way to go forward in getting things accomplished...
Seriously? the fact Don jr. is a big hunter doesn't matter at all?
That's absolutely fine with me. If you aren't already a max point holder you would never have a chance at drawing and would never hunt Tule elk, which is fine. I'm sure you are not the only one that sees it that way. The bottom line is hunting tule elk is relatively easy, not very sporting however, it is not a canned hunt. Boone and Crockett and Pope and Young accept entries of Tule Elk from private ranches. Yes, that doesn't mean you have to approve or condone it.If I was going to hunt Tule elk, it would be draw tag on public land or nothing. Sorry if I don't se it like you.
