Eagle Eye Ammo has sent a few of us Rokslide staffers some ammo to try out.

@Justin Crossley @BigSkyAdventures and myself will be giving it whirl this fall. Our goal is to compare it to our current proven loads and then see how it performs in the field.

***Update 7/9/20*** You can read Howard's review here.

Initial reactions to the packaging, the company, and particularly its stance on the 2nd Amendment, are highly positive!!

@BigSkyAdventures aka Howard Mee did a great job capturing the initial take on the package here:

The ammo I received is for the .308 Winchester - 168gr Berger Classic Hunter. This will be my first time shooting Berger. My .308 Mt Rifle has done very well over the years with a 165gr Nosler Accubond handload, so I am curious to see how the Eagle Eye ammo compares.

Justin, Howard, and I will be posting updates here so please subscribe if this ammo interests you.

Included in my shipment was a personalized letter that explains the history behind Eagle Eye Ammo, their pursuit of excellence (consistency), and their unabashed support of the 2nd Amendment.

Much of that content can be read here:

Please post any questions here and we will do our best to answer them as quickly as possible!

I'm trying out their .260 Remington ammo loaded with 135 grain Berger classic hunters. I had a short break in the weather this morning so I got my Tikka T3 Superlite zeroed and chronographed. This Tikka is all stock except the muzzle brake.

I typicaly see somewhat higher velocity spreads like this with factory barrels vs match barrels.

Not a bad group!

Nice write up. Looks neck n neck
to me. Maybe the Hornady a bit hotter? Any chrono data?

No Chrono data until December.
I'm also going to shoot both rounds through a different rifle after MT hunting season wraps up. I'll send them through the Bergara B-14 Hunter with the same scope and bi-pod.

Next time I go to the range I will Chrono the Eagle Eye vs. my 165gr Nosler Accubond Handload. I think I have found all the pieces to my Chrono after the move!! : )
