It´s certainly gonna be tough. Oregon? If it´s the hunt Iḿ thinking of the success rates are mid single digits, which isn´t really too bad given the time of year.

I don´t have a ton of Roosevelt experience so take the following with a grain of salt.

Roosevelt bulls will go into some very steep and very thick places after the rut (or more accurately, flat-ish places surrounded by steep, thick stuff. Like roadless canyon bottoms). I think they´re more likely than Rockies to hang in a small home territory. I think they are a little more patternable too.

If you have time to scout, you could potentially locate a bull´s sanctuary area and try to use a treestand.

If that´s not your cup of tea, I´d be looking for clear cuts waaaaay behind closed roads, where the pressure is so minimal they may still venture out into the open.
