Running review of Evolved Ballistics Proof Glacier/TI rifle. 6.5 PRC

Any signs of pressure with the 58.8gr of h1000? Is their room is the case for a little more powder? Thinking of going with a 20in barrel but wanna keep velocity over 2900fps.

No signs of pressure at all at 58.8. I’m guessing with a 20 inch you can easily get 2900 with the 140.

Took my 9 year old son out last night with this rifle. First time he has ever shot over 100 yards. First pic is his first two shot group at 200 yards. Second pic is a single shot at 300 yards. Third pic is his first ever two shot group at 640 yards all with three witnesses. The rifle is a shooter for sure. And that smile says it all!!!

Looks like a solid rifle and great shooter. The Berger is a great choice also!

The 6.5 Glacier TI was amazing this year. From 80-560 yards one shot kills with zero tracking involved. Every critter dropped in their tracks. I am extremely pleased with this setup and 6.5 PRC with the Berger VLD-Hunting.

That sounds fantastic! Congratulations ... I see you've had a fun year.

My Glacier Ti 6.5CM has already arrived in Europe and just these days I am with the break in process. As you can see in the photos the scope is a Swarovski X5, I am very happy with it. I think in a few days I will be selecting ammo to hunt ... Maybe you can help me with this .. What ammo are you using for?

I do but very limited. I used the 147 6.5 PRC Match out of another rifle with great results. And I killed a Arizona Javelina with a 147. But that’s it. Sorry I can’t help much.
