Sherwood Traditional Archery Rendezvous 2022 a.k.a. the S.T.A.R Shoot in Roanoke, VA

Moved up on the schedule to Memorial Day weekend - May 28/29, 2022

Here is your invitation to come and shoot with us the last weekend in May 2022. Get a little exercise, have a bunch of fun, shoot some arrows, swap some gear, make some new friends. There's usually a Slider or two, a gang of PBS members, and folks from 4 or 5 states. A pretty realistic 3D course through the hills, a Tough Man money shoot, field course and fun range . Usually some dang good deals on the picnic tables.

Wear good hiking shoes/boots. And even though they have multiple water stations on the courses.... bring a bottle.

Great bunch of folks put this shoot on. Probably near the top of the 3D list for shooting angles(elevation changes). Beautiful part of the country.

It has been a pretty damp week of set up and preparations but the skies are clearing and the sun will shine for the next two days. We start shooting arrows, swapping gear, telling tales and having fun first thing Saturday morning. There are at least six camps of shooters already set up and enjoying the fire tonight.
