Do you know if Tikka prefit barrels are compatible with the Sako action?

It seems some of the Tikka/Sako stuff is interchangeable but wasn't sure about the barrels.

I haven’t looked into it but there are some posts floating around the Sako Collectors forums and some other forums where guys are saying the Sako 85’s have identical thread pitch to the T3’s. Would be a question for your smith or some more internet deep diving.

I probably wouldn’t rebarrel a rifle that shoots sub MOA at 400 yards and is already under 6 lbs bare rifle. All up to you though.

Thanks and I agree. I shoot quite a bit of .260 and have a lot of reloading components...just thinking ahead.
