Salt Lake City, UT Hiking in December

Good morning sliders. I’m headed out today from Wisconsin to Salt Lake City, Utah for a week-long class.

Wondering if there are any good hiking trails open this time of year that will not require snow shoes.

Looking for a little exercise and some scenery.

I don't think there is enough snow to require snow shoes, but at the highest elevations right now. Was just up on the extended archery up Emigration Canyon and I personally wouldn't of even thought about using them.

Lots of good trails in that area that get enough traffic they should be fine.
