Finally got out and shot my 6.5 creedmor. Shooting about an inch. The checkering on the bolt knob is so rough it'll remove skin! Going to have to take a file to it. I'll probably lighten up the trigger a little as well.

An inch in a 6.5 isn’t anything very exciting. I haven’t shot mine yet, the lapua brass shows up tomorrow. If it’s a 1” gun I’ll probably try to put a barrel on it.

Yeah I agree an inch isn’t exciting but that’s what I was getting with 3 different brands of ammo. I’ve got guns that shoot better but cost more money...

FINALLY ready to take this 6.5-284 out! Took a little longer than normal to get everything, but she's looking good. Just a touch over 11.5# with 4 rounds.

I love my 7 mag. Shooting Barnes LRX factory 139 0.7 inches.

My 6.5x284 is lights out for accuracy. 51 gr reloader 22 with a 140 hornady match bullet. velocity is 2920 which is not super fast but decent. I have shot many repeatable .4 moa groups at 100 and 200 yards. Worst group shot trying different powders and barnes burner bullets was .8. Very happy with accuracy. Ready to stretch her out now. Topped with a swfa 12x and 20 moa rail

That’s awesome! Makes me want to reload. Barnes were really accurate I think if I find the right factory ammo I’ll be 1/2 inch as this gun shoots.
