Anyone that bought the savage 110 deal need rings? I bought a brand new set of talley light weight alloy 30mm rings extended but decided to sell the rifle and go a different direction. Anyhow I have a new in package set that I would do 50 tyd. Model 74x725 extended

I think I’m about done with my load development. It seems to be a shooter. Hopefully when I cut 4” off the end and screw on a suppressor it’ll still be a shooter. I did a DIY paint job that really helped as I was one of those that got the stock that was all chewed up. Thanks to @fightthenoise for answering all my annoying texts!

Did anyone figure out what the thread pitch was for the factory threading? I got my factory muzzle brake off and it measured out to be .550”. 1/2-28 thread adapter did not fit

I think there was a post earlier in this thread were someone said it was 5/8-32. I might be remembering that wrong though. I haven't taken mine off yet and checked. I thought most Savages were 5/8-24

I got it during the sale last year.

Yes, it has the adjustable comb height. I swapped brakes for a short time before putting the factory one back on. I used a 9/16-28 to 5/8-24 adapter for the other brake.

What base has everyone found work on these? I re-mounted a scope and found the current Weaver base was not level on both ends. Anyone else have this problem or solution?
