Savage Ultralight 6.5 PRC - OAL Question

Picked one of these rifles up last month, just getting around to do some loading for it. I have factory 143 ELDX and 147 ELDM ammo that I have shot, the 147 ELDM do better with one ragged hole groups and the 143 ELDX around 1 MOA. I was going to try and duplicate the factory ammo and in doing so found out that the Hornady Factory ammo was seating deep into the lands, likely driving the bullet in the case. I am getting 2,100" hitting the lands and 2.305" on the factory ammo using the comparator. Anybody who has this rifle or others seen this? With these bullets I would need to be at the sammi minimum OAL which would put me touching the lands..haven't run into this before
