I know it's a corny name but what the hell. You gotta have fun with this stuff. I just finished this neat roll top bag with side compression wings. It features a two way center zip so it can be accessed while the top is rolled up. The fully open unrolled bag is 34" tall x 42" dia. Rolled up and fully compressed it shrinks down to 29" tall x 33" dia. It fits nicely behind my DIY cargo panel on my new 24" tactical frame.

The lighter and smaller my gear gets, I'm finding the less bag I need. I'm playing around with going ultra light this year. It's looking like I might be able to achieve a 25-27 pound base weight but I'm still tweaking it.

My other DIY items pictured here are my cargo panel, large pocket, mini belt pouch on the right, and Smart water bottle holder on the left. Enjoy!

Man, that is awesome! Great work. Did you also modify the Kifaru Nalgene pocket? Or do they use bungie-type retention now (in place of the strap w/srb)?

Thanks! I modified the nalgene holder as well.
